Welcome to our first blog leading up to Christmas. I don’t know about you, but Christmas has always been our favorite holiday. It is not about the gifts, but about the positivity that everyone radiates during this time. Christmas seems to bring out the best in everyone.
To kick off our blog, we want to start with a thankful heart. Three hundred plus days have passed. During that time, we have experienced a roller coaster of emotions from positive to negative experiences. Some of those experiences we saw coming; others were completely unexpected. Some experiences lifted us up while others shook us at our core. There were days when we did not want to get up and other days when we didn’t want the day to end. Through it all, we have come out taller, stronger, and more resilient. We are a better version of ourselves than we were in January 2022.
For the ministry, this year has been a year of planting and growth. We have ministered to people all over the world, online and in person. We have seen a fresh move of God that we had not experienced before. We’ve also faced new challenges. The obstacles have made us better and stronger. They have made us more focused and determined to do God’s will. The good times have allowed us to appreciate His blessing and share them with all of you.
As we head into Christmas and give more of ourselves and share our blessings, we are grateful in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18). We can confidently look to the future with hope because we know that our God called us to greater things (1 Thessalonians 5:24). When January 2023 comes around, we’ll be ready to make an even greater impact. We have made it until now (1 Samuel 7:12) and we will continue to thrive.
